Preview
MuliRecovery
Preview
This preview is missing some core features, including the loading bar and other artifacts that are produced via scripts.

MuliOS introduces MuliRecovery, a dedicated Recovery OS environment designed for system installation, updates, recovery, and maintenance.
By separating critical system operations from the running operating system, MuliRecovery provides a safer and more reliable environment for performing major system changes.
MuliRecovery is also integrated with the new MUpdate OTA system.
MUpdate a1.0.5
MUpdate has received a major stability and integration update.
MUpdate now works directly with the MuliOS installer and the new OTA update system.
It can:
- Handle OTA system updates
- Download and manage split ISO files
- Back up user data before updating
- Work alongside the MuliOS installer
- Restore user data after the update process
- Perform updates through MuliRecovery
Task Manager 1.0.0
MuliOS now includes a built-in Task Manager.
Preview
Originally created by @archiveArther@archive~, it has been extensively updated and revamped by @𝕵𝖝𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖞, introducing deeper system integration and optimisations while keeping the interface clean and lightweight.
The Task Manager provides essential information about system resources and running processes without unnecessary complexity.
Credits & Support
The Credits application has been rebuilt with an updated list of MuliOS developers and contributors.
The Support page has also been redesigned to provide direct access to:
- MuliOS organisation information
- Discord support
- MuliOS repositories
New MuliOS Installer
Preview
The MuliOS installer has been completely rebuilt from scratch.
MuliOS no longer relies on Archinstall or Calamares for installation. The new installer is purpose-built for MuliOS and operates independently, providing tighter integration with the operating system and the MuliOS installation workflow.
Built by @𝕵𝖝𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖞.
KDE Customisation
The KDE Plasma environment has been extensively customised to better integrate with MuliOS.
This includes MuliOS-specific defaults, configuration changes, and desktop customisations designed to provide a more consistent MuliOS experience.
Smaller ISO
The installation image has been reduced in size by removing unnecessary packages from the ISO, including:
- Firefox
- Chinese/CJK fonts
The resulting ISO is approximately 1.8 GB, making it faster to download while keeping the core MuliOS experience intact.
Generic Kernel Optimisations
The MuliOS Generic Kernel has been further optimised for broad hardware compatibility.
It includes improved support and optimisation for:
- NVIDIA GPUs
- AMD CPUs
- AMD GPUs
The goal of the Generic Kernel is to provide a compatible default kernel across a wide range of hardware without requiring users to manually select a specialised kernel.
Revamped Profiling System
The MuliOS profiling system has been redesigned to make profiles easier to use, configure, and maintain.
Profiles are now simpler, clearer, and more tightly integrated with the MuliOS installation and configuration workflow.
