  • Add log_path configuration to settings table (defaults to /tmp)
  • Implement log_path setting in UI settings menu
  • Update cron jobs to use configured log path instead of hardcoded /tmp
  • Implement real-time logging with exec redirection (stdout/stderr to logfile)
  • Suppress curl output and error messages in notification POST requests
  • Improve error handling in run_backup with JOB_ID validation
  • Fix SQL query formatting in update_cron() using heredoc syntax

Database Migration Required:

  • Run: sqlite3 backup_clients.db "ALTER TABLE settings ADD COLUMN log_path TEXT DEFAULT '/tmp';"

This fixes issue #4: Allow configuration of log file directory
