Standalone launcher. The launcher is its own process and never imports world code; clients spawn from it with a --client-type contract that can stack the Universal Tracker overlay on a game client.
New launcher UI. Navigation drawer, Compact Mode, Desktop Shortcut button, Setup Guide button, Local Host / Upload switch, search reset, Export Datapackage picker, and cover art in clients.
Room-pinned world versions. Seeds record each world's version; connecting with a different version prompts you to install the room's version and relaunch.
Classic hint table is back with a sticky header, Flags column, right-click filters, a show-all switch, and per-hint hiding that syncs through the server. Universal Tracker adds an In Logic column.
Universal Tracker overlay gains a PopTracker map tab and repaints immediately on new items instead of every 60 seconds.
Console item and player refs return with hover tooltips; markup survives wrapped lines and copying grabs the whole selection.
Admin screen for hosts: session info, players table, server option controls, filtered console mirror.
YAML creator no longer eats memory on large option sets, syncs the live preview with hand-edit protection, and exposes world presets.
Fixes: fill algorithm restored, Bounce slot matching, Python 3.13 cold-start crash on Windows, double reconnect on shutdown, host.yaml backslash self-heal, lazily loaded worlds reporting version 0.0.0, world contexts losing their own self.client.
Webhost
Learn: language switcher on tutorials, guide names in breadcrumbs, /tutorial/<game>/setup resolves for every game, quickstart rewritten.
Operations: data folders moved outside the code tree behind MWGG_* env vars, options pages no longer OOM-kill workers, runtime image on python:3.13-slim-trixie.
Installer, updater, and packaging
Installer predownloads world wheels itself and installs them from cache on first launch; filenames use underscores; macOS finds the bundled uv again.
Updater enumerates releases properly, skips drafts and prereleases, and verifies SHA-256 manifests.
Dependencies: worlds missing declared deps are healed automatically, the game index installs without git, install failures are reported, and a missing world no longer truncates the catalog.
