Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. "Chip: Apple M…" means Apple Silicon; "Processor: Intel…" means Intel.

Installing

Mac: open the DMG and drag Oh a comber to your Applications folder. Both Mac builds are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so they open without security warnings.

Windows: run the installer. It isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will show "Windows protected your PC" — click More info, then Run anyway. This is a one-time prompt.

Known limitations

  • Windows: AIFF files scan and tag normally but won't play in the built-in previewer (it relies on a macOS-only audio converter). WAV, MP3, FLAC and OGG preview fine on both platforms.
