secrRFS (SECR Random Field Simulator) is an R package to estimate by simulation the degree of overdispersion in spatially explicit capture-recapture estimates of animal population density that results from a specified Cox process for the distribution of activity centres. The Cox process may be a log-Gaussian random field, a random binary habitat mosaic, or the parent locations of a Thomas process.
