English open-source source release for Codex and Unreal Engine, licensed under MIT.
Start with the installation guide, API, contribution guide, and security policy.
Download the source ZIP, its SHA256 checksum and the qualification JSON attached here. Native sources need your own licensed Unreal toolchain. Qualified target: UE 5.8.2 / Windows x64, Python 3.12, Codex 0.160.1; Blender authoring tested with 5.2.1 LTS. Independent project; no official OpenAI or Epic approval claimed.
Persistent world data, offline Shadow authoring, collision/support/navigation checks and official Unreal MCP application with synchronization, scoped saving and real rendering. Deterministic workflow works without Jev or a model API key.
Final ZIP: 135 Python tests passed, actual isolated Codex install passed, 45 MCP calls against qualified native data passed. Remote Windows CI passed on the exact source commit. Original native qualification includes 25 phases, 40 Chaos/Recast records and seven parity comparisons; unchanged native/runtime source is hash-bound in the attached receipt. The first CI failure from Windows short-path aliases is retained and corrected without weakening guards.
PyJWT updated to 2.15.0 after two dependency advisories; dated audit finds zero known vulnerabilities in all 30 pinned dependencies. Files, all three public Git commits, and the actual ZIP pass Gitleaks and personal-data/local-credential checks. This is a dated audit, not a universal security guarantee.
The original 16-trial, four-activity matched whole-agent portfolio measured 68.31% fewer tokens and 54.18% less verified-delivery time in its aggregate. Reuse saved only 0.70% tokens; audit and authoring do not pass both individual thresholds. Batch influences the aggregate strongly. No dollar savings, total development ROI, strict cache-cold result or universal game-production saving is claimed. Read Performance for failures, setup costs, protocol and individual results.
