Creator Armature
The panel is divided in following sections.
The following options are available:
-
Mirror from Collection Name
If two bone collections are named with a matching left/right pattern, and this option is enabled, they appear in the UI one near the other. The supported patterns are the suffixes.R/.L,_R/_LandR_/L_, and the prefixes "Right" and "Left".

-
Rig External Panel (MHX, ARP and Rigify)
If the model is of one of the supported types, the external panel to manage rig properties (e.g., IK/FK) can be added. This avoid the necessity for the user to install an additional addon.
For models that are not directly supported by the external panels (i.e. not standard MHX, ARP or Rigify), MustardUI can build a generic IK/FK snapper. This adds the IK/FK switch and snap buttons to the Armature panel so the user can switch and align the chains without installing the rig's original add-on.
Note
The generic snapper relies on common rig patterns. On heavily customized rigs the automatic detection may need manual adjustments.
When running the Smart Check, MustardUI auto-detects the Armature type. If the armature is not a standard MHX, ARP or Rigify rig, it is treated as "unknown" and the Armature panel is built using common bone-collection patterns, so even unsupported rigs get a usable panel as a starting point.
In order to show a bone collection in the UI, click on the button near the layer name.
Several options are available once a bone collection is selected in the list.
-
Advanced
If enabled, this bone collection is shown only when the user enables Advanced options -
Default
when the Armature bones are reset in the Armature panel, bone collections flagged as Default are shown, while the others are hidden. -
Outfit Switcher
This option will enable automatic show/hide of layers depending on the visibility of the outfit piece selected. Note that if you only select a Collection, and the Object field is left void, the layer will be shown/hidden when accordingly to the collection visibility.
