  • Metadata Recovery Engine: Upgraded metadata pipeline with MetadataRecoveryEngine, capable of structurally validating and recovering IL2CPP metadata even when headers have been modified, zeroed, or relocated.
  • XOR Auto-Detection & Streaming Decryption: Automatically identifies and decrypts metadata protected with 1-byte and 4-byte repeating XOR masks without requiring manual key extraction.
  • Tampered & Zeroed Magic Resilience: Automatically scores structural integrity (0–100%) and restores canonical 0xFAB11BAF magic in a normalized buffer for seamless downstream compatibility with LibCpp2IL and MoontonDumper.

CLI & Diagnostics

  • Metadata Fingerprint Registry: Added diagnostic detection for HoYoverse (MHY\0), byte-swapped big-endian (FA B1 1B AF), and zeroed anti-dump signatures.
  • Recovery Reporting: CLI completion table now reports the recovery method, confidence score, and recovered XOR keys.

Improvements & Architecture

  • 64-Bit Safe Bounds Arithmetic: Hardened offset and size calculations ((ulong)offset + (ulong)size <= fileLength) against 32-bit integer overflow and malformed fuzz inputs.
  • Zero-Overhead Fast Path: Canonical metadata (0xFAB11BAF at offset 0) returns immediately with zero disk copying or performance penalty.
