Initial release of Descript.ion comments.

• Add, edit, and delete comments for files and folders from the File Explorer context menu.
• Preview comments in File Explorer hover tooltips and view or edit the active note's comment from the status bar.
• Maintain comment entries when files or folders are renamed, moved, or deleted within Obsidian.
• Store comments locally in UTF-8 descript.ion files using Total Commander's multiline format, with no network requests.

Requires desktop Obsidian 1.14.4 or later. Windows is the primary supported and tested platform; macOS and Linux have not received the same level of validation. Mobile is not supported.

Files the plugin cannot fully parse are protected from writes. External tools are not locked, and cross-directory moves do not provide a transaction; avoid simultaneous edits to the same description file.

For manual installation, copy main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from this release into <Vault>/.obsidian/plugins/descript-ion/, then enable the plugin in Settings → Community plugins. Community directory submission is a separate step.
