What's new in 0.0.34
Recover a task whose note was deleted
If a task's source note can't be found, the Edit task modal now shows the full task line — open checkbox, text, dates, priority, tags, links and its tt-id — with a Copy task button. Paste it into any note and the task is back, with all its tracked time.
Safer syncing across devices
Task Time Tracker now keeps any data it doesn't recognise instead of dropping it when it saves. This prepares the ground for upcoming changes in how data is stored, so a device running an older version won't wipe out newer data.
- If your data comes from a newer version, the plugin tells you and asks you to update it on that device. Until then, export and project editing are paused there; tracking keeps working.
- Opening Obsidian no longer saves anything: data is only written when you change something.
⚠️ Please update on all your devices
The next version (0.0.35) changes how data is stored. If you use Task Time Tracker on more than one device, update it everywhere before then. You'll see a one-time reminder after updating.
Also
- The Edit task modal is wider on desktop (640 px). On phones it stays full screen.
