What's New in v0.50

RBN Band-Opening Alerts

Connects to the Reverse Beacon Network and alerts when VHF/UHF bands open near your location. Skimmer grids are looked up via QRZ/HamQTH and cached — distance is calculated from your grid square. Configurable bands (10m, 6m, 2m, 70cm), distance threshold (Miles/KM), per-band cooldown, voice announce, and selectable RBN server/port.

Update Notifications

SDRLogger+ now checks GitHub for newer releases at startup. A clickable banner badge appears when an update is available — links directly to the download page. Toggle on/off in Settings → Display.

QSO Log Improvements

  • Search now includes Remarks and Contest/Event fields
  • Prev/Next pagination replaces the old "Load More" — page size adjusts to panel height
  • Vertical resize handle on the QSO Log panel

Panel Resize & Scrolling

  • DX Cluster panel now scrolls when spot count exceeds visible area
  • DX Cluster and Distance Map panels have vertical resize handles
  • Distance Map expands to fill panel height when resized

Other

  • 70cm (420–450 MHz) added to band mapping
  • FLRIG capitalized throughout; Triple Radio Integration (TCI · HamLib · FLRIG)
  • Marketing PDF updated with POTA/P2P, digital auto-logging clarification, clickable hyperlinks
