Install: download h5web-fork-e9e1c91.vsix, then in VS Code run Extensions: Install from VSIX… (or code --install-extension h5web-fork-e9e1c91.vsix).

Built from NAThompson/h5web fork @ e9e1c91.

  • Points overlays drawn inside volume renders and orthoslices, hidden where the volume is in front
  • Record a sliced dimension as an animated GIF (playback settings → Record GIF)
  • VTKHDF unstructured grids (.vtkhdf) open as volumes, isosurfaces and orthoslices, with smooth mesh boundaries
  • nth-root color scale (0.1–10) on heatmaps, points and 3D complex surfaces; log/root brightness for phase & amplitude
  • Black background for volumes; snapshot axes fixed in VS Code; playback always uses the whole sequence
