Submitting a Response
Use this page if someone has asked you to fill in a form. You do not need to install anything: open the platform in your browser or follow the link the form owner sent you.
Public forms can accept responses without an account. Other forms require sign-in or a private access link. A form must also be published and within any opening and closing dates set by its owner.
If a private link has expired or stopped working, ask the form owner for a new one. Keep private access links within the intended group: another person holding the link may also be able to use it.
- Read the introduction and any instructions for the current section.
- Complete the required questions. Some questions appear only when an earlier answer makes them relevant.
- Move through the sections and attach any requested documents.
- Review your answers, then select Submit.
- Wait for the thank-you page before closing the form.
Validation messages identify answers that need attention, such as a missing required answer or a file that is too large. If you lose your connection, keep the page open until it returns; saving and submission need a connection.
Signed-in users can use Save as Draft, and the form also autosaves entered answers. Check that saving has completed before leaving. Return through My Submissions, or reopen the form to resume an existing draft.
Guests cannot save a persistent draft. Their response is saved when they submit, so they should complete it before leaving the page. A guest submission is not linked to an account for later access through My Submissions.
Your answers become fixed after submission. If you need to correct a submitted response, contact the form owner. Changing its review status does not reopen the answers for editing.
The maximum size is 10 MiB per file. Accepted extensions are jpeg, jpg, webp, svg, png, pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, and md. The server also checks the file type; renaming a file does not make an unsupported format acceptable.
When malware scanning and blocking are enabled, an attachment cannot be downloaded until a scan marks it clean. A submitted response may therefore be available before its attachment is ready.
A signed-in person's draft is available to that person and administrators. Form owners and other evaluators cannot inspect someone else's unfinished draft.
Once submitted, a response can be read by its signed-in author, the form owner, assigned evaluators, and administrators. Publishing a form does not publish its answers.
For questions about how your answers will be used or retained, contact the organization running the form.
