Deskemy 1.1.0

The first feature update since launch — this one's about making Deskemy something you can settle into: your progress is now portable and backup-able, updates come to you, and a couple of small comforts for late-night watching.

(New here? Deskemy is a local, offline player for the video courses you already own — a browsable library with resume, search, bookmarks, and study stats. Everything stays on your machine; the media engine is bundled, so it just works.)

What's new

** Updates come to you now.**
Deskemy checks for a new version on launch and offers a one-click update — no more checking back here. You're always asked first; nothing installs behind your back.

This is the first version with the updater built in, so if you're on 1.0.x you'll need to grab 1.1.0 manually this one time. After that you're set — future updates are automatic.

** Back up and move your library.**
Settings → Data → Export saves everything Deskemy remembers — progress, bookmarks, tags, career tracks, study stats, thumbnails — into a single .zip. Import loads it back after a reinstall, on a new PC, or into a fresh portable copy. Your video files stay where they are; this is just your progress, safe in your hands.

** Sleep timer.**
Watching before bed? Set the player to pause after 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 minutes — a custom time, or at the end of the current lecture. The countdown shows right on the toolbar.

** "Recently watched" filter** in the library, so the courses you're actually working through are one click away — and filtering is snappier now, too.

Windows 10 / 11. WebView2 is installed by the setup program if it's missing.

A couple of notes

• Deskemy isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run — choose More info → Run anyway. That's the standard unsigned-app notice, not a malware flag.
• No accounts, no telemetry — nothing about your library ever leaves your machine.
• Want to verify your download? Check it against SHA256SUMS.txt.
