@NFRohan NFRohan released this 20 Jul 19:27

A small bugfix release. If you're on 1.2.1, Deskemy will offer this update automatically.

Fixed

Your PC no longer sleeps while a video is playing.
Watching a long lecture without touching the keyboard or mouse could let Windows sleep or blank the display, interrupting your session. Deskemy now keeps the system and display awake while a video is playing, and releases that hold the moment you pause, stop, or close the app. Thanks to @flipped0419 for the report.

Leftover update installers are cleaned up.
Installing an update left the downloaded installer (~37 MB) sitting in your temp folder. Deskemy now clears these on startup, including any left behind by earlier updates.

Download

File Use it if…
Deskemy_1.2.2_x64-setup.exe Normal install (recommended) — updates itself from here on.
Deskemy_1.2.2_portable.zip No install — extract and run Deskemy.exe.
Deskemy_1.2.2_x64_en-US.msi You prefer an MSI.

Windows 10 and 11. WebView2 is installed by setup if it isn't already present.

Notes

  • The app is unsigned, so SmartScreen may warn on first run — choose More info, then Run anyway.
  • No accounts and no telemetry. Nothing leaves your machine.
  • You can verify downloads against SHA256SUMS.txt.
