This release focuses on custom tones and playback reliability.

Highlights

  • Add reusable custom tone imports for alarms
  • Support MP3 and WAV imports with validation and fallback handling
  • Preserve direct-boot-safe alarm playback with the bundled fallback tone when custom sources are unavailable before first unlock

Reliability and UX fixes

  • Fix the Android tone picker bridge so importing a custom tone opens the system document picker correctly
  • Ellipsize long custom tone filenames in the alarm editor so they stay readable instead of overflowing the field
  • Refactor the alarm editor, dashboard, and playback flow into smaller units to reduce dead code and lower maintenance risk without changing user-facing behavior
