I swapped the AI generated placeholder text out for something I wrote. I think it's a little bit shorter and more focussed. I do reference the STFC cuts at the end in a way I think is still largely hopeful and tasteful but if people would rather not that's fine.
I also moved the pre-registration link button to the top of the page so it's more visible and people don't have to scroll down to see it.
