    specified depth.
• Changes
  • Change the JIT compilation strategy of optimize_kl. By default, the
    optimizers themselves are no longer compiled—only the cost functions being
    optimized.
• Deprecations
  • Deprecate the built-in HMC (NUTSChain, HMCChain) functions. Please use
    the BlackJAX wrapper (blackjax_nuts) instead.
  • Deprecate the experimental MaternHarmonicCovariance model. Please use
    the new MaternCovarianceModel instead.

  • Introduce VariablePositionNufft, a type-2 NUFFT operator for evaluating
    signals on a regular grid at arbitrary spatial positions.
