Added

  • Build and Plan agent modes

  • Build starts implementing the plugin immediately.

  • Plan analyzes the request and current project, then presents a technical plan for approval.

  • Review plans, request changes, or generate an alternative before implementation begins.

  • AI change previews

  • Review proposed file changes as a diff before they are applied.

  • Choose Apply or Reject for each proposal.

  • Project change history

  • Review changes made by AI and roll back an operation when needed.

  • Rollback checks for conflicts before restoring files.

  • “What changed?” summaries

  • See which files were created, modified, or deleted, along with a summary of affected project areas.

Improvements

  • Plan reviews and revisions are saved in the project’s chat history.

  • File changes are checked before applying to help avoid overwriting newer edits.

MCode Beta v1.0 — First Release

The first beta release of MCode, a desktop app that helps you create and edit Minecraft plugins with AI.

Highlights

  • Create and edit Minecraft plugins from the desktop app.

  • Use chat commands: /ask, /create, /edit, /fix, /explain, and /texture, with suggestions as you type.

  • Chat history is saved separately for each project.

  • Configure AI provider API keys in Settings. A Google Gemini API key must be obtained and added by the user.

  • Markdown formatting in AI chat responses, including bold text, links, and code blocks.

  • Improved Gemini function calling, including support for signatures needed in follow-up tool calls.

  • Updated app name and branding: MCode Beta v1.0.

Download and installation

Download Mcode-Beta-v1.0-Setup.exe from the Assets section below and run the installer.

To use AI features, configure an API key for your chosen provider in the app’s settings. Do not share your API key with anyone.

Important

This is the first beta release. Bugs may occur, and features or the interface may change. Back up important projects before working on them. Please report issues or share suggestions in the repository’s Issues section.

Availability: Windows installer. A Linux .deb package is not included in this release.
