NODAL Capture Suite v0.1.0

NODAL Capture Suite v0.1.0 — first public build.

Four apps in one install: Nodal Studio (offload, review, export), NODAL Camera
Config (camera setup and intrinsic calibration), Nodal Capture (multi-camera
capture and extrinsics) and Nodal Pose (3D pose processing).

Downloads

• Windows 10/11 — NODAL-Setup-0.1.0-windows.exe (the installer asks for
  administrator approval)

• Linux x86_64 — NODAL-Setup-0.1.0-linux.tar.gz

  tar xzf NODAL-Setup-0.1.0-linux.tar.gz
  sudo ./NODAL-0.1.0/install.sh      # or --user, to install without root
  

  If a window fails to open with an xcb error:
  sudo apt install libxcb-cursor0 libxkbcommon-x11-0

ffmpeg is required for video export

Exporting or trimming clips needs ffmpeg on PATH (https://ffmpeg.org/download.html,
or sudo apt install ffmpeg). Without it only untrimmed copies of the original
recordings can be exported, and the export dialog will say so.

Export formats

Original (MJPEG, no re-encode), H.264, H.264 lossless, MPEG-4 Part 2, MPEG-2,
H.265/HEVC, ProRes 422, DNxHR HQ, FFV1, VP9, and PNG/JPEG image sequences —
with trim points applied and output named per trial and camera.

Notes

• macOS is not in this release. Apple Silicon is supported by the code and a
  build script is included, but the build must run on a Mac; Intel Macs are not
  supported because torch and PyQt6 no longer publish x86_64 macOS wheels.
• Neither installer is code-signed yet.
