@github-actions github-actions released this 06 Sep 10:33

Install

One-click (MCP Bundle). Download ghost-windows-x64.mcpb or
ghost-linux-x86_64.mcpb and open it in a client that supports MCP
Bundles (Claude Desktop: Settings -> Extensions -> Install from file).
It contains the ghost-mcp server and nothing else; the CLI and HTTP
server are in the archives below.

Linux (x86_64) — needs at-spi2-core and a desktop session:

tar -xzf ghost-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
sudo dnf install at-spi2-core at-spi2-atk # or apt install
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface toolkit-accessibility true
./ghost doctor # verify the machine

Restart any applications that were already open after enabling
accessibility — they only publish an accessible tree at startup.
Full setup and troubleshooting: LINUX-SETUP.md in the archive.

Register the MCP server:

claude mcp add ghost --scope user -- "$PWD/ghost-mcp"

Windows (x64): unzip and run ghost.exe doctor. The binaries are
not code-signed, so SmartScreen will warn on first run.

Verify a download with the matching .sha256 file.

Full Changelog: v0.23.3...v0.23.4
