When looking at leaves, you can't see which branch led there ("All leaves")
When looking at branches, you can't see which leaves are included ("Grouped")

These should be surfaced a bit

On grouped, we can print a list of the leaves included
On all leaves, we can print the path to that leaf near the top

This issue is currently for tracking of a change needed in functionality pending introduction in #1879, once that lands if this is not already addressed you are welcome to propose a solution, or even an improvement if the some solution is incorporated in that PR.

Initial functionality land of the technique and intent views does not include the group options, however the data surfacing request here is still viable as a stand alone enhancement to the leaf view.

One proposed path to surface this linkage is for the taxonomy (for techniques) and typology (for intents) expanded graph views to be enhanced by adding an element similar to the tags displayed on the probes view to show the path to the leaf in the source.

Thanks for clarifying the architectural context! @jmartin-tech , The proposed approach of enhancing the taxonomy and typology expanded graph views by adding tag-like elements to display the leaf path makes total sense and aligns well with the existing UI/UX patterns (like the probes view).
I’d be happy to take this on and implement this standalone enhancement. Could you please assign this to me? I'll start investigating the frontend components for the taxonomy/typology views and draft the changes.

Hi @jmartin-tech, thanks again for the guidance! I've opened a PR that
implements the standalone enhancement you described: reusing the
ProbeTagsList-style tags to show the full taxonomy path for technique
leaves, wired into the expanded taxonomy view.

PR: #1988

A couple of notes on scope, per your comment:

• This covers the "All leaves" path portion of the original request.
• Intent codes are flat (e.g. C006) and carry no hierarchical path in
  the digest, so the breadcrumb only applies to the technique axis.
• The "Grouped" leaf-listing half still depends on the group
  functionality you mentioned isn't part of the initial land, so it's
  out of scope here as discussed.
