DrasticDS_nx — Nintendo Switch

A native Nintendo Switch port of the Drastic DS emulator, featuring an all-in-one SDL launcher with cover artwork, per-game settings, controller configuration, and OpenGL + Vulkan renderers bundled into a single file.

⚠️ You must provide your own Nintendo DS BIOS, firmware, and legally obtained game backups.

Renderers

Choose under Settings → Graphics → Renderer:

• Vulkan (NVK) — recommended
• OpenGL — alternative renderer for compatibility

Installation

1. Copy DrasticDS.nro into /switch/ on your SD card.
2. Copy your own BIOS and firmware dumps into /switch/drastic/system/:
   • nds_bios_arm7.bin
   • nds_bios_arm9.bin
   • nds_firmware.bin
3. Place games in /switch/drastic/games/ or add another library folder from the launcher.

Notes

• Applet/Album mode is not supported. Launch through a game override by holding R while opening an installed game, or use a forwarder.
• Press L + R + Plus while playing to open the in-game overlay.
• LSFG requires a user-supplied Lossless.dll inside /switch/drastic/lsfg/.
• Initial startup may take longer while the launcher extracts its resources.
