The background downloader reuses verified completed archives before contacting the website. Current-day listings refresh after 30 minutes, and snapshots taken before a day ended receive a final check. Successful unchanged listings renew their check time, preventing repeated requests every minute.
The Library refreshes backlog and coverage every ten seconds while open, including during active processing, and preserves recording playback. Backlog counts incomplete feed-days; combining alone does not finish days that still need transcription or analysis.
Validation: 349 offline tests, native Release build and UI checks, packaged-worker smoke tests, and public-package secret and forbidden-file scans. Retained archives, checkpoints, settings, credentials, and recorded quota usage are preserved.
