| Reliable shutdown |
Centralized shutdown for Player, downloads, tools, and Web Control without leaving yt-dlp or FFmpeg processes behind |
| Diagnostics |
Added local event-level logs, an opt-in detailed mode, and safe diagnostic ZIP export in Settings |
| Interface accessibility |
Standardized context menus, notifications, progress indicators, focus, and reduced-motion behavior across Desktop and Web Control |
| Responsive interface |
Desktop keeps its familiar density in regular windows and works fully from 800×500 and at increased zoom: navigation, Downloader, History, Settings, Tools, Formatter, and Player reflow without clipped actions, while the History context menu stays within the window and Web Control makes better use of phone screens |
| Download queue |
The queue keeps active, pending, and failed jobs in one state: successful downloads move directly to History, starting and clearing follow the selected category, and progress updates only the affected row without re-announcing the whole list |
| Download history |
History uses one paginated list, synchronizes automatically, and is stored atomically; it now includes an availability filter, selection preserved across pages and filters, page or status-result selection, deletion and export of selected entries, and an explicit search reset for empty results |
| Player and media library |
A full-screen media scene plays local audio and video files, preserves the queue, keeps playing in the background, and provides a pinnable hover panel, a separate fullscreen mode, and auto-hiding controls. Compatible local files switch audio tracks natively, while codecs unsupported by Chromium are prepared in one load-limited HLS session with adaptive seeking and temporary-cache cleanup. The Now Playing card uses a music fallback icon for MP3 and other audio files and does not show a broken image when a poster fails |
| Player window controls |
The Windows Media Library now includes minimize and close-window buttons, while the close button in Player stops only the current file without removing it from the library or queue |
| Redesigned Settings |
Settings now use a lightweight two-column layout with localized parameter search, sticky headers, compact runtime details, modern switches and choice cards, responsive navigation, and complete keyboard operation |
| Tools |
The tab now has persistent responsive navigation, while yt-dlp, ffmpeg, and Deno management provides an overall status, update checks, per-tool installation, and safe reinstallation with rollback to the previous binary on failure |
| Keyboard shortcut management |
Keyboard shortcuts were moved to a dedicated Settings section: every action can be searched, reassigned with conflict detection, reset, and transferred via configuration export/import |
| Player keyboard shortcuts |
Added configurable commands for playback, queue navigation, seeking, volume, fullscreen, the media library, shuffle, repeat, and current-file information |
