First public release of TypePilot for Android. Download TypePilot.apk below, then follow the install steps.

Added

• Suggestions on top of every app with your own keyboard: memory answers the moment a field opens, AI continuations as you type, and reply starters in chats. They stream in word by word.
• Knowledge memory. Every form field you fill is remembered as question → answer. Add a PDF, Word or text file (your resume, for example) and it's turned into facts.
• More than one likely answer. Up to three answers per field, each on its own row with a coloured % pill. Tap the right one.
• Memory + AI side by side. Real questions ("Why do you want to join us?") get a full AI-written answer under your saved answers.
• App-aware memory. What you type in an app is preferred in that app; optionally, keep it only there.
• Floating assistant. ✦ opens Fix grammar, Grammar + flow, Best version, tones, translation (English, Hindi, Hinglish) and Write with AI, without closing the keyboard. Changed words are highlighted.
• Edge tab. A translucent ✦ in your Material You colour that slides in and fades. Drag it, or hold it to hide TypePilot in that app.
• Smart switch for payment apps. Hidden apps turn accessibility fully off while they're open, and it comes back on afterwards, even after an update, reboot or the phone killing the app.
• Backup and restore of memory, phrases, stats and settings (API keys are never included).
• Models: Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Ollama (found on your Wi-Fi), and 18 on-device models rated for your phone, with a benchmark.
• Insights: acceptance, words and time saved, live CPU and memory, and latency for every stage.
• TypePilot Keyboard for phones where accessibility apps are blocked.

Fixed

• A field could show the answer meant for the field below it (the next field's label was picked as its question).
• Suggestions are only looked up while the keyboard is open, so a field focused by an app with the keyboard closed costs nothing.
• The AI answer to a form question was cut off after 8 words.
• The floating assistant could be clipped on short screens; it now moves to the top when there's no room beside the field.

Notes

• If you were running a build you made yourself, back up your memory first (Settings → Apps, memory & privacy → Back up), uninstall it once, install this release and restore. The release is signed with a different key.
• arm64 phones only (almost every phone from the last six years).
