🍓 Nan0berryOS v1.1 (STABLE)
Nan0berryOS is an ultra-lightweight, preemptive Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) custom-designed for the Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040 / ARM Cortex-M0+) microcontroller.
Developed to provide a fast, predictable, and self-contained execution environment, it integrates a multitasking kernel with power management, a RAM-based file system (VFS), Mutex synchronization primitives, and a full interactive CLI Shell via USB/Serial.

🛠️ Available Shell Commands
Upon connecting your serial terminal to Nan0berryOS, you have access to the following native system commands:

📦 How to Install on Raspberry Pi Pico
You do not need to compile the source code! Simply use the pre-compiled binary available in the Assets section of this release:
- Download the
Nan0berryOS.uf2file attached to this release. - Hold down the BOOTSEL button on your Raspberry Pi Pico and connect it to your computer via a USB cable.
- The board will mount on your computer as a USB storage device named RPI-RP2.
- Drag and drop the
Nan0berryOS.uf2file onto the board's drive. - The board will automatically reboot and start running Nan0berryOS.
💻 How to Access the Terminal (CLI)
- Open your preferred serial terminal program (VS Code Serial Monitor, PuTTY, Tera Term, minicom, or picocom).
- Select the COM / USB Serial port corresponding to your Raspberry Pi Pico.
- Set the connection speed to 115200 Baud.
- Press the Enter key.
- The system prompt will appear, and you are ready to interact:
