Pip Workshop 0.10.0 brings the current Tauri app, game projects and independent Java challenges to the Mac download.
- Five cumulative game projects and ten independent challenges, linked to prerequisite lessons.
- A compact problem/editor workspace, three public Run examples and at least twenty Submit cases in game projects and challenges.
- Highlighted Java, compiler diagnostics, readable input/output, adjustable interface and code size, and Accepted/Perfect results.
- A refreshed 3D robot, stacked cargo, clear destination tiles, fixed scoreboard, corrected hurdle jumps and speech transcript. Play demo shows one worked example without changing saved code.
- Faster Java test execution. Development Demo mode stays out of release builds.
- Existing Java files, drafts, quizzes and progress remain in
~/.pip-java/.
Install or update
Download Pip-Workshop-0.10.0-mac-arm64.dmg, open it, and drag Pip Workshop to Applications. Quit the old app before replacing it. Keep ~/.pip-java/; it contains saved work. Java is included.
This installer is for Apple silicon Macs. It is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. If macOS blocks first launch, follow Apple’s Open Anyway instructions. Intel Mac and Windows packages are not included.
Verification
193 application/Java tests, 7 native tests and the full desktop UI suite passed. Production editor and website checks passed in headless Chromium and WebKit. The packaged app launched, reported bundled Java Ready, and the user confirmed visible code. DMG integrity, signature and bundled resources were verified. SHA256SUMS.txt accompanies the download.
