Initial release. Control remote computers from Codex over RDP or VNC without taking over the host desktop.

• Screenshots, mouse and keyboard input, scrolling, and dragging.
• Persistent Python execution with variables retained between calls; combine actions, screenshots, and loops in a single call.
• Multiple named sessions with separate execution environments and input state.
• Compatibility with common PyAutoGUI calls and a bundled remote computer Skill.
• Local connection profiles with support for password environment variable references.
• Session cleanup and emergency input release after interrupted execution.

Install Python 3.12 and uv, and make sure uv is on PATH.

Download remote-computer-use-1.0.0.zip from Assets below. In the Codex sidebar, open Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin ZIP and select the archive without extracting it. The first startup may download dependencies.
