First public prerelease of the two-plugin Paseo collection, targeting Paseo 0.7.2. This community project is independently maintained and is not operated or endorsed by the Paseo team.

Included plugins

  • Branch Garden: inspect registered Git projects, workspaces, branches and worktrees without changing Git state. The interface, accessible labels and generated warnings/errors are now English, with 24-hour local scan times. User-provided names are preserved.
  • Provider Usage: inspect Codex and Grok plan usage using existing daemon-host authentication, with a sidebar surface and an agent composer pill. The integration is experimental and still includes Korean status messages.

Both plugin guides include actual screenshots. The collection includes MIT licensing, contributor/security documentation, source-import checks and three-platform CI.

Install pinned source

Use Paseo 0.7.2 on the intended daemon host. Branch Garden requires Git; Provider Usage requires existing provider authentication. Review the source and enable trusted plugins in Paseo Settings → Plugins before installation.

Install either or both plugins; npm installation is not required. Add --host <host> for a remote daemon and use the actual runtime ID if you specify --id. Existing branch-tracking Git installations use paseo plugin update <runtime-id>; directory installations use paseo plugin reload <runtime-id>.

Migration

GitHub Project Board, Tailscale Dashboard, Composer Compact, Composer Skills and File Browser have been removed. Existing installations must be uninstalled explicitly; updating repository source does not uninstall them. The earlier v0.1.0-rc.1 draft was withdrawn without publication. See removal instructions and installation/rollback guidance.

Verification and limits

  • Documentation, release metadata, Git-source imports, both workspace typechecks and all 50 tests pass on Windows, macOS and Ubuntu. Release verification workflow.
  • Live Windows/Paseo 0.7.2 evidence covers the retained plugins. Branch Garden's English UI was checked in wide and compact light-theme web layouts, including filter and expansion accessibility states. UI verification.
  • macOS/Linux daemon execution and native mobile clients are not runtime-certified. Current-version failed Git-update rollback was not exercised. Prior Git-install/update evidence and its scope are linked from the removal verification record.
  • Provider Usage relies on experimental authenticated endpoints; responses may change or become unavailable. This prerelease is for evaluation.
