@Nate-Rich Nate-Rich released this 27 Apr 20:44

twig is a concise directory tree viewer optimized for the multi-user era. No ASCII art — readable by humans, parseable by machines, wasteful to neither.

This is the first public release.

Highlights

  • 32–77% fewer tokens than tree for equivalent output, on real-world directory trees from 35 to 18,000 lines.
  • Walks faster than tree -d at scale; ~3× faster than dust for size-aware output.
  • Three architectures supported: x86_64, aarch64, armv7.
