🐛 Feedback, Bug Reports, and Known Issues
This release represents a significant expansion of SMS functionality, including new storage support, networking improvements, and MP4 playback. However, additional testing and feedback from the community are important to continue improving compatibility and stability.
If you encounter a bug, unexpected behavior, playback issue, device compatibility problem, or have suggestions for improvements, please report it through the GitHub issue tracker:
Please include:
- Your PS2 model (if known)
- Launch method (OPL, wLaunchELF, FMCB, etc.)
- Storage device being used (USB, MX4SIO, MMCE, HDD, SMB, UDPFS, etc.)
- The media file type and codec information when reporting playback issues
- Steps required to reproduce the problem
Known Issues

Device menu arrangement
- Some device menu entries are not currently arranged in the most intuitive or comfortable order. This is planned for future cleanup.

Video startup time
- Depending on the storage device and media format, some videos may take additional time to begin playback.
- This is especially noticeable with the newly supported MP4 files, where container parsing and indexing can require extra processing before playback begins.

Translations
- Existing translation files and language tables have not yet been fully updated to include all newly added features and menu entries.
- Translation updates and corrections are welcome from contributors.

Additional undiscovered issues
- Despite extensive hardware testing, there may still be bugs or compatibility problems that have not yet been discovered.
- If you find an issue, please open a report on the GitHub repository so it can be investigated and tracked.
