What's New in v0.1.3
Snapclient Instance Identity Fix
Instances on the same machine no longer collide — each instance now uses a unique --hostID (instance DB id) and --instance N flag
Added instance_num column to DB with automatic migration and sequential backfill for existing instances
Instance number is now displayed in the Client Details card
ALSA Mixer Control
New collapsible ALSA Volume panel per instance card in the web UI
Adjust hardware volume per ALSA control with sliders
Settings persist across reboots via alsactl store
API endpoints: GET /snapclient-instances/alsa/:cardId and POST /snapclient-instances/alsa/:cardId
Audio Device Detection
Dual-source detection: aplay -l + /proc/asound for services without audio group access
HDMI, DisplayPort, S/PDIF, and other non-output devices are filtered out
Installation Mode Selection
install.sh now prompts to choose: Snapclient Only / Snapserver Only / Snapcast Manager (both)
Also supports --mode client|server|both CLI flag
Single-mode installs hide irrelevant UI sections
Bug Fix: sudo on Root Systems
Fixed sudo: not found error on Debian systems running as root — sudo is now skipped when process.getuid() === 0
You can’t perform that action at this time.
