GVClass v1.5.2

This release fixes the Apptainer/Singularity container entrypoint surface for workflow engines such as Snakemake.

Container fix

  • Publishes a stable gvclass command at /usr/local/bin/gvclass.
  • Adds /usr/local/bin to the container PATH ahead of the Pixi environment bin directory.
  • Normalizes /opt/gvclass runtime permissions and explicitly makes gvclass and gvclass-a executable for non-root Apptainer/Singularity users.
  • Keeps the compatible runtime database/resource bundle at v1.5.0.

Validation

  • gvclass --version reports software v1.5.2 and database v1.5.0.
  • Snakemake can call gvclass directly from inside the SIF.
