  • The permission rules granted to sessions that run in / now survive a reboot. Remote Control starts its sessions there, and Claude Code records every rule granted for a working directory inside that directory, in /.claude. On Unraid / is a filesystem that lives in RAM, so the whole list was discarded on every reboot and each rule had to be approved again by hand. It is now kept in appdata, next to the configuration and the logins, and linked back into place at boot.
  • An existing list is moved across on update, before the next reboot can take it. Every file is compared against its source with diff before the original is let go — neither cp's exit status nor the destination merely existing is enough, because a share that fills up mid-copy leaves a truncated file behind. If anything does not match, nothing is moved and the original stays exactly where it is; when it does match, the original is renamed aside rather than deleted.
