First release of Psychrometrics for Ignition: psychrometric script and expression functions built on the ASHRAE Handbook equations.

Both are free, signed by Nedama Integrated Solutions and Maker Edition compatible. The 8.1 file does not install on 8.3, and the 8.3 file does not install on 8.1.

What's included

  • system.psychro with 18 script functions in gateway, Perspective, Vision client and Designer scripts
  • 17 psychro* expression functions, so expression tags can show live dew point, wet bulb and more straight from sensor tags
  • Dew point, frost point, wet bulb, humidity ratio, absolute humidity, enthalpy, specific volume, density, vapour pressure deficit, and conversions between them
  • Compressed air dew point conversion between pressures, and standard atmosphere pressure from altitude
  • Relative humidity relative to liquid water at every temperature, as most RH sensors report it

Verified

34,057 results across every function from -100 to 200 °C, run inside Ignition 8.1 and 8.3 and checked against PsychroLib and an independent Murphy and Koop implementation: zero failures. The tests are in the repository.
