r277.9.7.9-beta - NeRgY
r277.9.7.9-beta - NeRgY
Retail
- Raid Debuffs is now Highlight Debuffs: "Highlight Debuffs" now has 9 combinable checkboxes (Boss Debuffs, Role Debuffs, Important, Crowd Control, Raid, Raid In Combat, Dispellable By You, Dispellable Effects, Non-Player Auras) with tooltips explaining each. Checked filters are mutually exclusive in priority order, so a debuff never shows twice.
- The Raid Debuffs options tab no longer shows the spell list editor on Retail; it explains why custom lists no longer work. Classic and MoP are unchanged.
- Highlight Debuffs can now also be added as a custom indicator (via the "+" button), so multiple independently configured instances can be placed on a layout.
- Cell was rebuilt for Midnight so it works with Blizzard's new combat data rules instead of the old direct aura scanning. The addon now leans on Blizzard's own display systems for auras and related frame info, which keeps it stable on current Retail.
- Several Lua bugs have been fixed.
Classic / TBC
- Debuffs and Raid Debuffs Circular animation works again (None / Top to bottom / Circular).
- Healers indicator now has the Animation dropdown (None / Top to bottom / Circular).
r277.9.7.10-beta - NeRgY
r277.9.7.10-beta - NeRgY
Retail (12.1.0)
- Fixed "tainted by 'Cell'" errors for players using the traditional (non-compact) Blizzard party frame style: Cell now automatically switches Edit Mode to raid-style party frames when Hide Blizzard Party is enabled, since Blizzard's traditional party frames cannot be safely hidden without taint on current Retail. A one-time popup explains the change and offers a reload button.
- Fixed the duration number on some aura/cooldown text indicators showing an extra word after it in certain languages (e.g. Russian "15 с." instead of just "15").
- Fixed Cell's memory usage slowly climbing the longer you played.
- Debuffs can now show a colored outline around each icon so you can tell its type (Magic, Curse, Disease, Poison, Bleed) at a glance. Can be turned on/off, and you can change how thick it is.
- Dispels can now show a colored outline around the whole player/raid frame, not just the health bar. Can be turned on/off, and you can change how thick it is.
- Reduced stuttering when players join or leave the group/raid.
- Reduced stuttering when entering or leaving combat, especially noticeable after longer fights.
r277.9.7.8 - NeRgY
r277.9.7.8 - NeRgY
Retail (12.1.0)
- Hide Blizzard: hidden Blizzard party/raid frames are fully disabled so they no longer error on roster, health, or Edit Mode updates, and the leftover gold target box on those faded frames is gone. Party/Raid stay hidden; Cooldown Viewer and other Edit Mode elements stay usable; the player breath bar stays visible.
- Hidden Blizzard party member frames stay disabled after joining a group, so their health bars no longer error on secret max health.
- Aura displays no longer rebuild on every loading screen or layout switch, and unused AuraContainers are parked and reused instead of being discarded, which was causing Cell's memory use to climb over time.
Classic / TBC
- Converting party to raid no longer rebuilds indicators on every precreated raid button, which was hitching the client even in a 2-player raid and could leave a random set of frames without names, HoTs, or PW:S until reload.
