USAGE

This is a command-line tool. You may use the provided .bat files to use it, or a terminal such as cmd or Powershell.

  • FIRST, You must copy oo2core_9_win64.dll from any of the games next to Bakery.CLI.exe. This file is copyrighted & commercial material, it cannot be provided.

Some batch (.bat) scripts are included which can be used by dropping files or folders into them.

  • Unpacking: Drop .cak files into Unpack.bat to extract them into an <name>.extracted folder next to the original cak files.
  • Listing Files: Drop .cak files into ListFiles.bat to create a text file listing all files in that cak file.
  • Baking: Drop any folder into Bake_XX.bat to create a ready to use .cak file for the target game.

Otherwise, CLI Usage:

  • Unpacking cakes: Bakery.CLI.exe unpack-cak -i <path to .cak> - make sure the cake file name hasn't been renamed.
  • Unpacking a specific file from a cake archive: Bakery.CLI.exe unpack-file -i <path to .cak> -f <game file path> [-o output path]
  • Packing a cake: Bakery.CLI.exe pack -i <path to folder> -v <version> version is 9.2 (24)/9.3 (25) or 9.9 (26). Earlier is untested.

Note

Arguments wrapped in <> are required and [] are optional.

A hook is provided for K26 enabling support for custom cake files in a mods folder. Extract the contents of SimpleCakeHook.zip to the game directory. (The loader used is Ultimate ASI Loader. This should be compatible with other means of modifying the game provided they do not use a custom loader. Ultimate ASI loader uses .asi (renamed .dll) files sitting in the scripts folder).
