Changelog - v1.40.1

This update lowers the background load of synchronization on devices with many waiting changes.

🔄 Synchronization

  • Signing in again or switching accounts no longer adds another copy of every personal file to the
    list of changes waiting to be uploaded. Copies that already piled up are uploaded once instead of
    once per copy.
  • A large backlog no longer holds back other uploads: preparing waiting changes pauses after a
    short time and continues with the next synchronization round, and other work in the app keeps
    running in between.
  • Checking for waiting changes and open conflicts every few seconds reads far less data while
    nothing has changed.
