TensorPM v1.41.0
Changelog - v1.41.0
This update reworks the first start of TensorPM and adds a "Next steps" card to the project
dashboard that helps you sync a project and connect a mailbox.
🚀 A calmer first start
- Onboarding now uses the whole window, without the sidebar. The sidebar appears once your first
project is open. - "I already have an account" opens a centered sign-in. Afterwards TensorPM opens your cloud
workspace. If you joined a team through an invitation, you land in the team's workspace; further
workspaces and pending invitations wait in the account menu. - The sign-in card never creates an account by accident: an unknown email address gets a short
hint and the option to start with a first project instead. - The account form asks for your password once and offers one clear "Continue with Google or
Apple" button, which opens tensorpm.com. - Generating the first project is more robust: it may take up to four minutes, you can cancel it,
and a project that was already generated is picked up again instead of being generated twice.
If generation fails or you cancel, your free first project is not used up. - Errors say what happened and offer the next step, such as signing in or sending a report.
- After you confirm the generated project, "Confirm and plan first tasks" lets the project agent
propose the first tasks right away. - Keyboard and screen readers: one "Back" per step, the focus stays where you put it, and status
lines are announced once they are complete.
🧭 Next steps on the dashboard
- A new "Next steps" card at the top of the status column:
- Sync this project moves a project that lives only on this computer into your own cloud
workspace, end-to-end encrypted, with one click, and opens it there again. TensorPM offers
this only when it is safe: nobody else belongs to that workspace (checked again right before
the move), your plan has room for another active project, and no other move is pending. - Connect a mailbox opens the connector setup for this project, so new mail reaches the
Distiller as proposals you confirm. - "Not now" hides a step for that project.
- Sync this project moves a project that lives only on this computer into your own cloud
- The connector dialog can now be opened from within a project. Escape closes it and returns you
where you were.
📐 More room in Pulse
- Chat history and "New chat" moved into the Pulse header, next to the agent switch. The row
they took up above the briefing is gone, and the duplicate re-analysis button with it: the
header's "Go through the project again" chip does the same. - On smaller windows the briefing starts higher: "Today's Focus" is no longer cut off at the
message box, and the check-in below it is visible right away. - Scrolling works without a scroll wheel or trackpad: the briefing and the status column show a
slim scrollbar while you point at them or move through them with the keyboard, and you can drag
it. At rest it stays out of sight.
🏗️ Improvements
- The account menu shows a dot and the number of pending workspace invitations.
- On macOS, TensorPM › Preferences… (⌘,) opens the settings, also during onboarding.
- Kanban cards: a long category name no longer pushes the ID and priority icon down. It is
shortened with "…", and the tooltip shows the full name. - The app runtime is updated to Electron 43.7.5.
- Browser agent: when you take over the embedded browser, the page keeps its desktop layout
right away instead of briefly showing the size it had before.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Personal file conflicts: when two of your devices index the same folder, the same file entry
no longer turns into a conflict you have to decide. If both versions have the same content,
TensorPM keeps the synchronized one on its own, and conflicts of this kind that piled up earlier
are cleared in the background. - The conflict list in the sync indicator no longer flickers while it refreshes.
- For personal file conflicts that really differ, "Use the synced version everywhere (N)" at
the bottom of the list settles all of them in one step. - Pulse: the daily check-in stays first in the briefing. The daily project analysis follows after
it instead of pushing it to second place.
