Changelog - v1.42.2
This update makes the timeline smooth again, stops sync conflicts that appeared and vanished on
their own after almost every save, and tidies up how menus look.
🗓️ Timeline
- Moving a bar no longer stutters: dragging or resizing a bar, giving an undated task or work
package a span, applying a schedule fix or removing a span now saves only the changed dates.
Before, every change saved the whole project and the timeline paused for one to three seconds. - If such a change can't be saved, the bar returns to its saved dates, even after several quick
moves in a row.
🔄 Sync
- No more phantom conflicts: after a conflict on a task, work package or other record had been
settled once, every later change to that record showed up as a new conflict and then resolved
itself a moment later. Changes are now sent normally. Real conflicts, where someone else changed
the same record in the meantime, are still shown as before.
🎨 Cleaner Menus
- Menus highlight whole rows: in context menus and dropdowns (tasks, people, files, the
account menu, assignee and model pickers), the entry under the pointer is now highlighted as a
clean, full-width row instead of a rounded pill or a half-rounded shape. All other buttons look
as before. - The back link in the account menu (for example "‹ Workspaces") is now a plain title with an
arrow instead of a framed button.
