CADCraft DOOM v0.1.0 — Windows x64

Unofficial CADCraft community modification with DoomGeneric running directly inside the drawing canvas.

Requirements

• Windows 11 x64.
• A user-supplied compatible IWAD. Original shareware DOOM1.WAD was used in automated testing.
• Microsoft Visual C++ v14 x64 Redistributable if Windows reports a missing VCRUNTIME140.dll.

Quick start

1. Download CADCraft-DOOM-v0.1.0-windows-x64.zip from Assets.
2. Extract the ZIP completely.
3. Run Launch-CADCraft-DOOM.bat.
4. Select your own IWAD.
5. Type DOOM and press Enter in CADCraft. Use an English keyboard layout.
6. Click the game to give it keyboard focus.

Controls

• Arrows / WASD: move and turn.
• Ctrl: fire.
• Space: use/open.
• Shift: run.
• Enter: confirm.
• Escape: Doom menu.
• F12: return to CADCraft.

Known limitations

• Sound is disabled.
• One game session per application process. Restart CADCraft before starting another session.
• Automated real-engine rendering/input tests passed. Interactive gameplay in this exact Windows EXE was not independently verified by the automation environment.
• No complete playthrough or clean-machine installation test.

Licensing and credits

The combined application is distributed under GPL-3.0-or-later. Original component licenses and notices are preserved.

Based on CADCraft by the ArtCraft Team and contributors, with the Doom engine from DoomGeneric and its credited upstream authors.

This is an unofficial community modification, not endorsed by the original developers or id Software.

No WAD or other game data is included. Complete corresponding source with pinned dependency sources is attached separately.
