What's new

Initial public release of NetBird Delayed Auto-Update for Windows (Chocolatey).

This version adds:

  • Delayed (staged) auto-update for NetBird installed via Chocolatey.
  • Version "aging": a new NetBird version must stay in the Chocolatey repo for DelayDays before rollout.
  • Daily scheduled task that checks for updates and applies them only after the delay.
  • Optional random delay (MaxRandomDelaySeconds) to spread update time across machines.
  • Local state tracking (C:\ProgramData\NetBirdDelayedUpdate\state.json) to remember observed versions.
  • Logging of all decisions and upgrade attempts in C:\ProgramData\NetBirdDelayedUpdate\.

Notes

  • This tool does not install NetBird – it only upgrades an already installed NetBird Chocolatey package.
  • If a "bad" version is quickly replaced in Chocolatey, clients will never upgrade to it.
