• Command palette — every overlay is drawn the same way: a bold title with its count at the right edge, a › before the query, one empty row between title, query, list and keys, the keys that work inside the box, and no line at the left edge.

  What was wrong

  Each overlay had its own spacing, its own title colour and its own row lead. The title and the
  placeholder shared one faint colour on adjacent rows, the settings indented their titles two columns
  past the palette's, and the keys that worked sat in the footer under the scrim, dimmed by the very
  box they described.

• Preferences — the preferences are a sheet along the bottom of the terminal, one row per preference with on or off in a value column, and what the highlighted one does said once under the list.

  What was wrong

  The preferences opened as a box over the middle of the diff, two rows per preference, so toggling
  one meant looking past the box to see the diff it changed.

• Command palette — commands are grouped under their category's headline, and the cursor row is painted across the whole box.

• Preferences — the editor a line opens in is the last row of the preferences sheet, and return on it offers the editors on the machine.

Fixed

• Command palette — return runs the command under the cursor; it used to run the first match, because the return key reached the filter box first and reset the cursor.

• Preferences — escape closes the sheet after a visit to the editor picker; it used to bounce back to the sheet forever.

• Search — an empty search is one faint row saying where the matches will list, instead of a nine-row void.

  What was wrong

  A comment on a stranger's pull request went into an inbox no agent was reading, and the review had
  to be retyped in a browser, one comment at a time, with the anchors adiff already knew lost on the
  way.

  What was wrong

  twenty-seven added ones, and the reviewer had to read both blocks to find the two that mattered.

• Agent skill — the agent edits and answers by id, and commits when the work forms a unit rather than once per comment.

  What was wrong

  The skill said the next commit is the reply and that a question is answered in the commit message.
  Agents took it literally, so a review ended in a pile of one-comment commits, and answers written
  into commit messages never reached the reviewer's screen.

• Review panel — opening a comment the branch moved past shows the whole thread, with the code it was written on.

  What was wrong

  When another line had taken the number the comment was written at, opening it jumped to that line,
  where no comment was drawn, and the agent's answer was nowhere to read.

• Settling box — marking a file that still holds open threads lists them, and says which one is not in the diff.

  What was wrong

  The box counted two threads while the diff showed one, and gave no way to tell where the other was.

• Review panel — d takes a settled thread back, so a point settled too early can be reopened.

  What it does

  Pressing d on a settled thread unsettles it: the thread opens where it stands, the footer names
  the key as "unsettle" while the cursor is on one, its answers are marked unread again, and the agent
  is owed an answer again if it never gave one. The panel cursor stays on a thread that has been
  taken back, while settling still brings the next thread to it.
  adiff comment reopen --repo . --branch <branch> --id <id> does the same from the command line, and
  is refused on a thread that is not settled.

• Diff — a comment is written in the diff, under the line it is about, instead of in a box over it.

  What moved

  The draft opens under the last line of the selection and the code below it moves down, the way a
  thread already sits under its line; a reply opens under the thread it answers. The quoted snippet is
  gone, because the code is on the screen above. ctrl+s sends and escape cancels, as before. On a
  pane too short to hold the draft, and where the diff cannot show the line, the draft opens over the
  diff as it did before.
