Tips for Redux and the Mosfet Party ps_on adapter - for FSP500 #98
|
Appreciate all the work that’s gone into this project. I didn’t find this asked before, so apologies if it was covered. I’m attempting to attach the ps_on pcb/adapter with the recommended m3 screws and I’m curious how others have found success. I have the power source loose, tried securing the pcb, but am struggling with the tight angles and only a tiny L-shaped wrench for the M3s. Cables attached before fastening or attach them after? Any special tools that help? I have a 10-pin extension already and a fan extension on the way. I also have the microfit adapter with the orange clip from mosfet party this makes for an additional challenge with one of the fan ports on the ps_adapter. thanks for any guidance! |

Yes, throw that tool in the trash, they are useless tools, I own and use these:
The third option is cheap, and an absolute requirement for any hobby DIY stuff, 2mm and 2.5mm being the most used for any of these projects. Trying to fumble around with those "freebie" allen kyes is like trying to play pick up sticks with your butt cheaps :) |
