v1.0 Release

You no longer need to dig up and paste in an API key to use the tool. Just click "Login with Nexus Mods," sign in through your browser, and you're connected. You'll stay logged in going forward, and there's now a simple login/logout option always available at the bottom of the window, along with your username and avatar so you can see at a glance which account is active.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some mods could fail to package correctly when certain asset options were set together.
  • Fixed a couple of edge cases where the tool could rebuild a mod archive using leftover files from a previous export instead of the current one.
  • Fixed a validation check that was letting some invalid folder paths through when they shouldn't have been.
  • Mod file names are now checked against a wider set of restricted names so packaging can't accidentally produce a file Windows won't allow.
  • The tool now warns you if you try to close it while an upload or package job is still running, instead of just cutting it off.
  • Fixed a few small interface bugs: text fields no longer occasionally lose what you just typed, disabled buttons no longer respond to keyboard input, and toggle switches update properly in all cases.
  • Uploads and other network requests now time out properly if something goes wrong, instead of appearing to hang forever. You'll also get a clearer message if Nexus Mods temporarily rate limits requests.
  • Clicking a link inside the in-app help pages now takes you to the right page directly, with a working Back button. Images load a bit more reliably too, and pages now start scrolled to the top instead of wherever the last page left off.
