Publish dev f2ad749: Stage 2b, the item record's names and each field's float encoding
Publish dev 729e9f7, milestone one's sent members verified
The reference regenerated. CharacterSelectFailed, WorldLogout and
UnitPropertiesChanged go to Purpose with every member the server sets verified:
pregame has 27 of its 42 at Fields and thirteen at Purpose, entity commands 20
and 14, and Client-protocol's Purpose row names the two pregame ones. 1,110
tests, the gateway's 197.
Publish dev 5cbd245, the holder recount's unsent lowers
The reference regenerated. Twelve messages go back to Purpose: pregame has 29 of
its 42 at Fields and the world entry and movement group 18, WorldSettings at
Purpose with its timer's period verified. Client-protocol's trust rows list every
message at Purpose, and its character select, realm select and kick lines match
the declarations; Gateway-design and Owners-account say a kick sends its value at
its default. 478 read to fields, 70 dormant, 571 unverified, 703 named.
Scope Host settings to a Release build, dev 23af745
The generated page opens with what a Release build reads, since a Debug build also reads Tools:Oracle for its developer tools, and Content:ClientDataPath names the operator's own client data. Host says the same and points at the developer tools. Run 40034333388, 1,035 of 1,035.
Describe the Debug-only developer tools
Repository-layout adds Tools/NexusTomorrow.Tools and its tests, the server's Debug-only reference, the Release build's two workflow steps, and 1,035 tests in 15 applications. Gateway and Gateway-gate name the one exception to the send gate, a Debug build's tools, which a Release build doesn't carry. Code-standard, Branches-and-workflow and Running-the-tests add the Release check. Codec-declarations lists [WireSecret], and Owners-account the lookup of an online session by email.
Point every settings table at Host settings
Host settings is the reference now, so the system pages' knob tables become what their settings do together, each linking its section: Gateway, Owners, Map scheduler, Persistence, Command layer and Host. Host lifecycle's checks table becomes a sentence pointing at the page's Must be column. Repository-layout adds the Settings project and its references, the protocol reference's new page and tests, and 988 tests; the settings checks now live in Settings, not the server's OptionsValidation.cs. Home lists Host settings with Host.
Publish Stage 2a, one character alone in the world
New pages for what the stage built: Map scheduler with its ticks and metrics, Timer wheel with its rules, and Owners map. The gateway, owners, persistence, host, harness, codec declarations, client protocol and running-a-server pages describe the merged code, and the design pages keep only what's still to build; Host design is superseded. Roadmap marks the stage done with its in-game checks, Repository-layout adds the Maps projects and 941 tests in 14 applications, and Home, the sidebar and Server-core-design point at the new hubs. Counts from run 39998957267 at dev 1a27ee7: 255 read to fields, 864 unverified, 1,097 agreeing, 30 pinned.
Move the wiki to the dev branch
- Re-badge every bootstrap page to dev, same commits
- Running-the-tests: dispatch on dev, ci/ test branches, a filter's exit code 8 handled in CI, the Executed tests step
- The executed-tests check on Code-standard, Repository-layout and Branches-and-workflow
- dev in Documentation-standards and Home; a note on Branches-and-workflow until its rules are committed
Split the owners into their system page, references and what's left
- Owners explains one thread over one queue, the two built owners and
why; Owners base, account and realm carry the facts, checked against
bootstrap c3409ba
- Owners design keeps only what isn't built: the map owners, the
hand-off, the protocols and the realm's modules
