Linux (beta). Styx now runs on Linux: an AppImage (any distro, updates itself) or a .deb for Debian and Ubuntu. Production approvals use your system password through polkit. See Install.

Security

• A release build ignores the test switch that fakes the OS prompt, so nothing can turn off Touch ID, Windows Hello or the system password for production grants.
• Agents no longer inherit provider tokens (GH_TOKEN, VERCEL_TOKEN, AWS keys …) from Styx's own environment; their access to targets goes through grants only.

Fixes

• A turn's message reaches the agent only after its "before" snapshot exists, so an agent's first edits can't slip past Undo this turn on a slow disk.
• The Design tab shows screens in a build task's own folder.
• Sign-in is optional and limits nothing: add as many projects as you like.
• Text contrast fixes for WCAG AA.
