BeepRS 1.0.2.
- Spite found three more voices. There are nine deaths now.
- Andre Louis asked for a better shuffle. The next death will not be either of the last two. It can still be rude.
- Derek Lane threw a cleaner loop at the developer. The bed comes back around without the old splice. Freshen replaces the bed and the beep.
- The install button promised to quit. It restarts. The label has been told.
Unzip beeprs-1.0.2-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip and run beeprs.exe. Saves stay where they are.
BeepRS 1.0.1
BeepRS 1.0.1.
- One hungry alien was one you couldn't kill. We did. BeepRS no longer chomps on 100 MB of your RAM.
- Space refreshed the window and handed the screen reader a microphone. The score is still written down. It waits on the menu.
- Three deaths were not enough spite. There are six now.
Unzip beeprs-1.0.1-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip and run beeprs.exe. Saves stay where they are.
BeepRS 1.0
BeepRS 1.0. A beep, a bed, a lecture, and three ways for an alien to die.
Unzip beeprs-1.0.0-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip and run beeprs.exe. There is no installer.
Space destroys the alien. Esc leaves the game. A new game plays the introduction first, then the music and the beep start together. The score is saved beside the program, and an update does not eat it.
This release is the stable Freshen package. freshen-manifest.json and freshen-manifest.json.sig are the signed release description. Later versions can add sound files under sounds/. They cannot remove the files this version already owns, and they cannot replace your saves.
There are bugs. They are staying for 1.1.
