Network Mapper v2.8.1 - SSDP Deduplication Fix
π§ Bug Fix
SSDP Service Deduplication
- Fixed duplicate SSDP/UPnP services in output visualization - Services now appear only once instead of dozens of duplicates
- Enhanced service merging logic - Implemented proper deduplication based on service signature (name, type, port, protocol, source)
- Cleaner output formatting - Eliminated visual clutter from repeated identical service entries
π Issue Resolved
Previously, devices with SSDP/UPnP capabilities would show the same service entry multiple times:
```
β’ UPnP Device:0 (http) via ssdp from ecb5fa8b09d0 (10.212.100.22)
β’ UPnP Device:0 (http) via ssdp from ecb5fa8b09d0 (10.212.100.22)
β’ UPnP Device:0 (http) via ssdp from ecb5fa8b09d0 (10.212.100.22)
[...40+ more identical entries...]
```
Now each unique service appears exactly once, providing clear and concise output.
π Technical Details
- Added `deduplicateServices()` function to merge service lists intelligently
- Services are deduplicated using unique keys that preserve important distinctions
- New services take precedence over existing ones during merge operations
